I alternate between working in clay and drawing, with the common thread of figures, birds and people, or a combination of the two. The similarities between birds and people are amazing and it's often easier for me to express people's personalities in bird form. I am an observer of human behavior, a secret watcher. Bird shapes lend themselves more easily to abstraction and exaggeration.
